Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Civils Site Manager to oversee and coordinate on-site civil engineering and construction activities in Scotland. You will ensure works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will manage subcontractors, labour, suppliers, plant, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and client requirements. A strong leadership and communication background is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and construction activities.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and programme.
• Coordinate site labour, subcontractors, plant and materials.
• Monitor progress and report delays or issues.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture.
• Maintain site records and quality documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and inspectors.
