Job summary

Teamforce Labour is recruiting an experienced Senior Civils Site Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis in Acton. The role requires strong site experience, a solid understanding of civil engineering operations, and the ability to produce and manage technical documentation.

You will set out and survey on site, work closely with the Site Manager, produce RAMS/ITPs/RFIs, review drawings, and ensure works meet drawings, specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in civils and construction.
• Strong knowledge of site operations and procedures.
• Experience producing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs and other technical documentation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and set-out accurately.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works on site.
• Collaborating with the Site Manager and construction team.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Ensuring works follow drawings, specs, and procedures.
• Checking levels, dimensions and quality of works.
• Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documents.
• Assisting with technical queries and resolving site issues.
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
• Monitoring construction activities to standards.
• Providing technical support to site teams.
• Identifying issues and proposing practical solutions.
• Ensuring health, safety and quality requirements are maintained.

• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and approved procedures
• Checking levels, dimensions and quality of completed works
• Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation
• Assisting with technical queries and resolving site issues
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and project management teams
• Monitoring construction activities and ensuring they are completed to the required standards
• Providing technical support and guidance to site teams
• Identifying potential issues and assisting with practical solutions
• Ensuring health, safety and quality requirements are maintained throughout the works

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer within civils and construction
• Strong knowledge of construction operations and site procedures
• Experience Producing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs And Other Technical Documentation
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Good setting-out and surveying experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
