Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Civils Contracts Manager for their Sittingbourne, Kent base. The role demands extensive civil engineering and groundworks experience, with responsibility for delivering contracts, managing site teams, and developing client relationships.

You will oversee programming, cost control, tenders, and procurement while ensuring projects meet safety, schedule, and quality targets.

Formación

• Proven experience as Contracts Manager in civil engineering and groundworks.
• Established client base and strong industry network.
• Strong commercial acumen including tendering and contract profitability.
• Leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Managing multiple civil engineering and groundworks contracts from tender through to completion.
• Overseeing contract programming, labour allocation and resource planning.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Collaborating with estimating and commercial teams on tenders, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Managing Site Managers, Supervisors, operatives and subcontractors across multiple projects.
• Monitoring project costs, profitability, and variations.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, performance and coordination.
• Attending client meetings and providing regular project updates.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
