Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Technician for our Manchester team to deliver high-quality design packages for energy infrastructure projects. You will own the quality of drawings, manage document control, and mentor junior staff while advancing BIM practices across the department.

You will work with engineers and technicians on medium-sized projects, using industry-standard software and information management techniques to ensure robust deliverables from concept to detail.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering with ICE/EngTech TMICE or TIStructE accreditation is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D; Revit experience is a plus.
• Ability to produce 2D and 3D civil and structural deliverables from concept to detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality and completeness of all drawn information and manage document control.
• Lead CAD technicians and mentor junior staff.
• Advance BIM practices across the department and contribute to design package integrity.
