Senior Civil/Structural Rail Engineer - Rail

Location: London

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000

Hybrid Working

Overview:

A medium sized consultancy with a strong background and pipeline of work within the rail market, are actively searching for a Senior Engineer to join the established team.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy business, with good growth plans and a strong reputation.

This could suit somebody who has been at a larger business and would like to take on more responsibility, or perhaps somebody who wants to work for an SME, with an established and busy rail department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take a lead role in managing civil/structural design projects
2. Producing drawings, reports and specifications
3. Liaising with clients
4. Helping put together tenders
5. Scope and supervise surveys
6. Preparation of technical outputs to the highest standards

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
2. Extensive civil/structural design experience within the rail environment
3. Experience of designing bridges, gantries, foundations, lineside civils, platforms, stations, UTX/URX and other rail civils.
4. Experience of design forms (F001, F002 & F003)
5. Designers risk assessments
6. Chartership is highly advantageous
