Job summary

Apple Technical Recruitment (UK) Limited seeks a Senior Engineering Design Manager for a major mixed-use development spanning Bedfordshire and London corridors. You will oversee civil and structural design, coordinating with the client and on-site delivery teams to drive feasibility through construction.

The role requires a track record in civil/structural design management, with experience in large schemes and a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in construction with civil/structural design management.
• Experience with main contractor or multi-disciplinary consultancy preferred.
• Professional membership advantageous (CEng/ICE/IStructE).
• Strong design coordination and governance skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical compliance and design management across civil and structural packages.
• Coordinate early feasibility through to on-site delivery and procurement.
• Liaise between design team, client and delivery teams.
• Drive efficient processes aligned with programme and budget.
