Job summary

Sizewell C is recruiting a Project Manager - Enabling and Earthworks, Civils. Location: Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk (minimum 3 days onsite). Permanent, full-time. Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 plus benefits.

You will lead full lifecycle delivery for enabling and earthworks within a major low-carbon infrastructure project, reporting to a Senior Project Manager. The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or equivalent qualification.
• Valid CSCS card is required.
• Proven experience delivering major civil projects in safety-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civils work packages valued £50m–£200m within Enabling and Earthworks.
• Support earthworks, sea defences, diaphragm walling, dewatering, HDD and jetty construction.
• Deliver major milestones including dewatering, bridge construction and beach facility works.
• Engage with key stakeholders such as Sizewell B and Environment Agency.
• Manage interfaces across design, engineering, construction, consenting and programme teams.
• Lead safety culture, investigations, risk reviews and permits compliance.
• Undertake LOD 0 assurance and self-audits within CWA.
• Ensure QA, NCR/FCR processes and lessons learned are applied.
• Monitor productivity, schedule progress and programme performance.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, earned value, change, subcontracts and TOCs.
• Share HPC design learnings to maximise productivity.
• Line-manage and mentor early career staff and junior PMs.
