Job summary

Expanded Structures is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure packages in Suffolk. The role requires directing planning, coordination and delivery, with strong leadership of the project team and a focus on health, safety and quality throughout delivery.

You will develop construction programmes, manage site operations and work closely with design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience leading and delivering civil engineering projects.
• Experience with temporary works and self-delivery.
• Experience leading teams of engineers on infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for planning, coordination and delivery of the project or package of works.
• Provide strong leadership to the project team, driving safety and quality culture.
• Develop and manage construction programme, identifying milestones, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate site operations, ensuring labour, plant, materials and subcontractors are planned and managed.
• Work with design/engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure delivery requirements are met.
• Build relationships with client, supply chain and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with commercial team to understand project performance, manage change and maintain commercial awareness.
• Manage project risks and opportunities and take early action to protect schedule, cost and quality.
• Ensure works comply with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Lead project meetings, reporting and communication with clear visibility of progress.
