Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Development Team in Cambridge, focusing on civil engineering for development infrastructure. You will contribute to concept studies, strategies and masterplanning, delivering planning submissions and construction drawings for high-profile projects.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across sectors, ensuring quality, budget and schedules while guiding junior staff and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of highway design, drainage, flood risk and utilities in development projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day delivery for concept studies and masterplanning.
• Lead technical design, planning applications and construction drawings.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and client liaison across projects.
• Ensure delivery on budget, programme, technical standards and approvals.
• Support senior team members and guide junior staff.
