Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a General Foreman for civil engineering in Swindon, Wiltshire. Salary £45-60k + package, permanent role. You will coordinate day-to-day site operations, ensure policy compliance, monitor activities, and drive on-time delivery across highway infrastructure projects.

Requirements include NVQ Level 3 and prior supervisory experience on large civil schemes. Role based on-site with strong focus on safety, quality checks, and adherence to the construction program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day to day operations of the site
• Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures
• Control and monitor all activities on site
• Support the achievement of perfect delivery
• Ensure the daily programming of all site works is performed in accordance with the company construction program
• Identify and record any possible variations to the contract
• Ensure that all statutory requirements are adhered to on site
• Make sure safety equipment is worn by/site personnel at all times
• Ensure quality checklists are properly completed
