Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead high-value infrastructure tenders across the utilities and civil engineering sectors. You will manage the pre-construction tender process from enquiry to submission, partnering with operations, commercial and technical teams to deliver competitive and robust bids.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Senior Estimator or Estimator position within the utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering sectors.
• Demonstrable success in preparing winning tenders and securing profitable projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, pricing and commercial principles.
• Ability to develop estimates from first principles and interpret technical, commercial and contractual documentation.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading, mentoring or developing estimating teams.
• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Familiarity with BIM and digital construction tools would be advantageous.

• Develop competitive cost estimates and tender submissions.

• Review technical, commercial and contractual requirements.
• Ensure tenders are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
