Job summary

Contract Scotland, on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor, is recruiting an Estimator to join their Glasgow team. You will work on civil, rail and energy projects across Scotland, with occasional site travel.

The role requires at least 3 years in construction estimating, strong numerical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tenders from tendering through to post‑award handover. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry, ideally within estimating, procurement, civil engineering, or quantity surveying.
• Previous experience in civil and renewable energy projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess tender opportunities and prepare cost estimates.
• Collect and analyse project information to prepare Bills of Quantities and maintain tender records.
• Support handover of awarded projects to delivery teams and assist with document control.
