The Alliance is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead design activities for water and wastewater projects. You will review calculations, drawings, and 3D models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Anglian Water specifications. The role emphasizes mentoring, sustainability, and collaboration with BIM teams.

Hybrid working with occasional site/office visits, supporting professional growth, and contributing to offsite construction and digital engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant civil design experience within the UK water sector.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage competing priorities.
• Experience reviewing and approving engineering designs and calculations.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and safety requirements.
• Interest in digital engineering, offsite construction and sustainable design practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership across a portfolio of complex water infrastructure projects.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and support chartership progression.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and BIM specialists to deliver high-quality designs.
• Drive innovation in digital engineering and modern methods of construction.
