Job summary

Mott MacDonald is hiring senior civil engineers for its Water Utilities Division in the UK. You will contribute to design, feasibility and detailed design work across water treatment, distribution and wastewater projects for UK clients.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with opportunities to work across multiple UK water utilities and engage with multidisciplinary teams while delivering high-quality solutions and supporting professional development.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent.
• Chartered or near chartered status (ICE or equivalent).
• Water and/or wastewater design experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental priorities.
• Proactive approach and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple UK and Ireland water companies in design projects.
• Be part of multi-disciplinary design teams in project delivery.
• Deliver design submissions that meet contract requirements.
• Undertake studies, concept, preliminary and detailed design.
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders.
• Provide high-quality technical design output.
