Job summary

Stantec in Belfast seeks a driven Civil Engineer to lead technical delivery of local water infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland, Scotland and beyond, turning client requirements into robust, sustainable designs.

You will work in agile, multi-disciplinary teams with process, structural, MEICA and environmental specialists, build strong stakeholder relationships, and support career progression within a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Chartered status or working toward chartered status desired.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure and networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of local NI water projects from concept to construction.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including MEICA and environmental specialists.
• Build and maintain strong external stakeholder relationships with water utilities and partners.
