Matchtech is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Water Team in Leeds on a permanent basis. You will lead civil design across water infrastructure projects and collaborate with UK water companies, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

You will oversee optioneering, outline and detailed design, ensure compliance with standards and client requirements, and mentor engineers within a growing team. The role offers hybrid working and a pathway to professional registration.

Qualifikationen

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with water industry clients delivering design schemes.
• Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and BIM standards.
• Experience leading a technical discipline or coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Chartered or Incorporated engineer status, or working towards it.

Aufgaben

• Lead the civil engineering discipline on water-sector projects.
• Contribute to optioneering, outline and detailed designs.
• Ensure work aligns with standards and client requirements.
• Prepare plans and project schedules with timelines.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and third parties.
• Supervise and develop junior engineers and technicians.
• Review outputs and third-party design proposals.
