Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Belfast seeks a Civil Engineer to join the Networks and Drainage Design Team. You will produce drainage, water and wastewater infrastructure designs and assist senior engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.

The role requires Chartered or near-chartered status, a Civil Engineering degree and proven experience coordinating design delivery teams. Hybrid work involves 3 days office/site based in Belfast and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Recently Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer or near Chartered status.
• Proven experience coordinating a civil design delivery team.
• Strong knowledge in drainage, water and wastewater.
• Proactive and collaborative problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Producing drainage, water, wastewater design packages.
• Assist design engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Ensure CDM compliance and safety requirements.
• Manage schemes to time and budget.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and site teams.
