We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our design team in Leeds as part of a multi-disciplinary department providing detailed designs for water-related projects in the UK. This role offers flexible working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and adjustable start and finish times.

What does the role involve?

• Working within our water team on non-infrastructure projects as a Design Engineer, delivering and checking design solutions, and coordinating with disciplines.
• Providing technical guidance, support, and training to colleagues, including mentoring.
• Participating in projects from conception to completion, including supporting project management activities, detailed design, and quality assurance.
• Assessing, documenting, and communicating design changes, and ensuring delivery within time, cost, and quality targets.
• Engaging in business development activities such as preparing capability statements and maintaining client relationships.

What we’re looking for from you

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it with a relevant institution (e.g., ICE or CIWEM).
• Strong interpersonal and team skills, with excellent communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of water and wastewater non-infrastructure design, including multidisciplinary integration.
• Extensive experience in design, contract and tender preparation, assessment, and administration.
