Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Sheffield seeks a Senior/Principal Engineer to lead wastewater network improvement and CSO reduction projects, collaborating with our Derby team across the UK.

You will apply civil engineering expertise to feasibility, optioneering, detail design and construction support, delivering resilient solutions for regulated water-sector clients while mentoring junior engineers and leveraging digital tools.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (ICE, CIWEM or equivalent) or working towards chartership.
• Strong experience in design and delivery of wastewater network, CSO, drainage or related water-sector infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on wastewater network and CSO projects from feasibility through to detailed design.
• Lead or oversee production of technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery.
