Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the detailed design and delivery of wastewater networks in the UK, including sewer rising mains and trunk sewers. The role offers progression towards Design Manager with mentoring responsibilities.

You will oversee technical design, ensure compliance with Water Industry Standards, and liaise with water utilities and regulators while mentoring engineers and technicians on projects in Brighton and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UK-based wastewater pipeline design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modelling with InfoWorks ICM.
• Strong knowledge of sewer rising mains and drainage hydraulics.
• Full UK driving licence.
