Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Engineer or Senior Engineer to join a growing residential development business. You will support projects from land appraisal through to construction completion and final adoption, providing technical oversight and coordinating engineering and infrastructure solutions.

The role involves managing external consultants, ensuring buildability, coordinating drainage and highways designs, and guiding site operations through planning, design and delivery

Qualifications

• HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• CSCS Card required.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of vehicle tracking software and swept path analysis.
• Strong IT skills including MS Office.
• Experience in residential development, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate external consultants for highways, drainage and other infrastructure.
• Review proposals for buildability, programme and cost implications.
• Obtain and coordinate information for statutory submissions.
• Procure and assess utility quotations and installations.
• Coordinate foundation designs and drainage during construction.
• Support adoption processes with local authorities and inspections.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Ensure projects are technically robust and commercially viable.
