Job summary

Kier Group in Buckinghamshire seeks a Senior/Section Engineer - Civils to join the Calvert team in Twyford. You will manage civil works, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery across structures, highways and earthworks.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, CSCS Manager Card and proven experience on major infrastructure projects, with strong planning and communication skills. On-site work with some flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering structures, highways, drainage and earthworks.
• Experience on major infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
• CSCS Manager Card.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering activities for your section, ensuring alignment with drawings, specs and project requirements.
• Develop short-term programmes and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Lead quality compliance including inspections, testing and as-built records.
• Ensure works are delivered safely in accordance with RAMS and toolbox talks.
• Supervise and mentor Site Engineers and junior staff with technical guidance.
