Job summary

Carmichael UK in Canterbury, Kent is recruiting a Senior Engineer to lead site engineering activities on a major infrastructure project including a 550m link road and a 250m viaduct. You will supervise Site Engineers, prepare RAMS, ITPs and ensure quality, safety and programme objectives are met while coordinating with the wider delivery team and subcontractors on site.

The role offers ongoing training, career development and a long-term progression path within a landmark project team.

Qualifications

• RAMS, Temporary Works Briefs and ITPs are prepared and maintained.
• Experience with TQs, early warnings and NCRs.
• Quality assurance and quality control processes are followed.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating site engineering activities
• Supervising and mentoring Site Engineers
• Producing RAMS, Temporary Works Briefs and ITPs
• Managing technical queries, early warnings and NCRs
• Ensuring quality assurance and quality control requirements are met
• Supporting weekly planning, progress reporting and programme updates
• Liaising with the wider delivery team and subcontractors
