Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd seeks a Senior Civil Engineer for a Liverpool-based client. You will lead civil and infrastructure design across residential development, manage projects from feasibility to construction, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Six years’ experience in a UK civil engineering design consultancy.
• Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure design, including highways and drainage.
• Experience with Section 278, Section 38, Section 185 and Section 104 agreements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, WinDes or equivalent packages.
• Experience in client liaison, project coordination and managing project deliverables.
• Hands-on approach with involvement in design, project management and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across a range of sectors, particularly residential development.
• Managing projects from initial feasibility and concept design through to detailed design, approvals and construction.
• Developing effective working relationships with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders.
• Preparing and coordinating highway, drainage and infrastructure designs, ensuring technical robustness and viability.
• Working with highway and drainage adoption processes (Section 278/38/185/104).
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge.
