Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Highway/Civil Engineer to design and deliver highways and drainage infrastructure for development and public sector projects across the North West. You will lead design from concept through to delivery, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging clients and statutory authorities.

The role requires Chartered track or progress toward chartership, strong experience in SuDS, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent with progression towards chartership (CEng/MICE/CIHT).
• Strong experience in highway and drainage design including SuDS and development infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or Site 3D/PDS) and MicroDrainage.
• Good understanding of statutory approvals, commercial awareness and strong communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver highways and drainage schemes across development and public sector projects.
• Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery and act as primary client/stakeholder contact.
