Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Highway/Civil Engineer to design and deliver highways and drainage infrastructure across the North West, with Manchester offices. You will lead schemes from concept to delivery, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and engage with clients and statutory authorities. A hybrid model and site travel are available.

Experience with S278, S38, S104 schemes is advantageous. Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering with progression towards chartership, you will bring strong

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering; progression towards chartership (CEng/ICE/CIHT).
• Strong experience in highways and drainage design including SuDS and development infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or Site 3D/PDS) and MicroDrainage; understands approvals and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of highway and drainage schemes from concept to delivery.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders; engage clients and authorities.
• Produce detailed design calculations, specifications and reports to industry standards.
