Job summary

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Engineer to join an established contractor delivering the Sizewell C project. You will lead earthworks and infrastructure activities, providing technical leadership, planning works, ensuring safety and quality.

The role focuses on setting out, surveying, QA, documentation and construction planning. 4+ years' civil engineering experience with GNSS and 3D machine control is ideal.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Civil Engineering, preferably earthworks and major infrastructure.
• Strong experience with site surveying and setting out.
• Knowledge of earthworks, construction methods and QA processes.
• Experience with GNSS and 3D machine control systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and works information.
• ICE Graduate Membership eligibility and progress toward IEng status.
• Strong communication with site teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Carry out GNSS-based site surveys and setting out for earthworks.
• Review 3D machine control models for automated earthmoving.
• Interpret drawings, specs and works information to determine methods.
• Prepare Plans, RAMS, ITPs and checklists.
• Manage QA processes and checks before works commence.
• Provide technical support to site teams throughout delivery.
