Job summary

NEOS Engineering is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead earthworks and infrastructure activities on Sizewell C. The role focuses on setting out, surveying and planning, with strong emphasis on QA, RAMS and 3D machine control systems.

You will coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and the Commercial Team to ensure safe, compliant delivery and progressive project milestones over a major UK infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Civil Engineering, ideally earthworks and major infrastructure.
• Strong experience with site surveying and setting out.
• Knowledge of earthworks, construction methods and QA processes.
• Experience with GNSS and 3D machine control systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and works information.
• Experience with RAMS, ITPs and QA processes.
• Eligibility for ICE Graduate Membership and progression towards IEng.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across earthworks activities and plan works with the site team.
• Resolve technical issues and maintain quality and compliance.
• Involved in setting out, surveying, QA, documentation and construction planning.
• Review 3D machine control models and ensure accurate earthmoving.
• Coordinate with Foremen and site teams to manage earthworks.
• Prepare and maintain RAMS, ITPs and checklists.
• Support short-term and rolling-wave planning.
