Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer to lead highway and drainage design on major development projects in Huddersfield. You will manage technical delivery, coordinate design teams and foster client relationships.

You will work on development infrastructure including Section 38/278 agreements, prepare drainage strategies and Flood Risk Assessments, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring high-quality output and timely project delivery.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Civil Engineering and consultancy experience.
• Experience in development infrastructure, particularly highways and drainage.
• Familiarity with Section 38 and Section 278 highway agreements and drainage adoption processes.

Are you a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer looking to take ownership of highways and drainage design on substantial development projects? This is an opportunity to work on infrastructure schemes across residential, commercial and industrial developments, with responsibility for technical delivery, project management and client relationships.

As a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering development infrastructure, including highway improvements, access arrangements, Section 278 works and associated drainage design. You will manage projects, coordinate design teams and help develop less experienced engineers.

The Role

About You

• Experience using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow or similar civil engineering design software.
• The ability to manage projects, check technical work and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• A full clean UK driving licence.
