Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Your role within the company will involve completing drainage design for a variety of residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

As these projects are based in Ireland, this position offers remote working.

ROLE

The civil engineer will ensure that design works are completed in accordance with the client’s requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in civil project design, including roads and drainage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar civil engineering design software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of civil engineering products (e.g., drainage, road design, pipes, manholes, shafts, cover slabs).
• Membership or working towards membership of a professional institution (e.g., ICE) and a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status.
