Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Your role within the company will involve completing drainage design for various residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

As the projects are based in Ireland, this role is a remote working position.

ROLE

The civil engineer shall ensure that design works are completed according to the Client’s requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Over 5 years’ experience in designing civil projects, including roads and drainage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive ‘can-do’ attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar civil engineering design software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of civil engineering products (e.g., drainage, road design, pipes, manholes, shafts, cover slabs).
• Membership of or working towards membership of a professional institution (e.g., ICE) and a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status.
