Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer with over 5 years of experience.

Your role will involve completing drainage design for a variety of residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

Since the projects are based in Ireland, this is a remote working position.

ROLE

The civil engineer will ensure that design works are completed according to the client's requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Over 5 years of experience in civil project design, including roads and drainage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar civil engineering design software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of civil engineering products such as drainage, road design, pipes, manholes, shafts, and cover slabs.
• Membership or ongoing pursuit of membership in a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE) with a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status.
