Our client is an award-winning, multidisciplinary design consultancy currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Your role within the company will involve completing drainage designs for a variety of residential and commercial projects based in Ireland.

As these projects are based in Ireland, this position offers remote working arrangements.

Role

The civil engineer will ensure that design works meet the client’s specifications and requirements.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Over 5 years of experience in civil project design, including roads and drainage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European engineering codes.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar civil engineering design software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of civil engineering products such as drainage, road design, pipes, manholes, shafts, and cover slabs.
• Membership or pursuit of membership in a professional institution (e.g., ICE) with a goal to attain Chartered Engineer status.
