Job summary
Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer in Abingdon to join the infrastructure team. You will work on drainage and highway designs across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, coordinating with clients and stakeholders through planning to construction.
Senior roles may include mentoring junior staff and overseeing projects. The role offers progression within a supportive, ICE-accredited environment, with a hybrid working pattern and a strong emphasis
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng preferred).
- Experience within a civil engineering consultancy environment.
- Experience in drainage, highways, infrastructure or development design projects.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
Responsibilities
- Deliver infrastructure solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Design drainage and highways schemes; prepare technical designs and reports.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders; support planning, detailed design, and construction stages.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate project delivery for senior staff.
