Job description

Senior Civil Design Engineer - Environment

Location: Solihull / Grangemouth / Annesley
Other locations may be considered

What you will be doing:

As a Civil Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for all activities related to Civils Design, ensuring compliance with Business Management Systems (BMS) and CDM regulations. You will support the wider Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (PMEICA) and Civils design production activities, provide technical support to procurement, and support site activities as needed. You will also manage Consultants and Sub-contractors' design production, and provide technical support and mentoring.

About You:

• Hold relevant qualifications, such as HNC / Degree Level.
• Have working knowledge of relevant laws, including The Health and Safety at Work Act and CDM regulations.
• Possess basic knowledge of sub-contract processes, contracts, and commercial aspects.
• Have a foundational understanding of project management, including programming, cash flow analysis, and resource planning.
• Be willing to work towards membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE).
  Have experience in Infra or Non-Infra Civil Design, preferably within the Water Industry (desirable).
