URGENT ROLE - REQUIRED START ASAP

Senior Civil Structural Engineer

Contract Role - 7 Months

Up to £65 p/h

Hybrid - 2-3 days a week in Devonport or the Bristol office.

Job Overview:

This position involves working on a major engineering project to upgrade a Defence facility in Plymouth, UK, supporting the Vanguard and future Dreadnought Class submarines. The project is valued at £1 billion with a 10-year timeline, representing a significant infrastructure development for the UK's Defence sector.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing and/or checking designs, analyses, reports, drawings, specifications, and other documents related to Nuclear and Non-Nuclear plant, facilities, and equipment within licensed, authorized, and operational sites, or supporting external contracts.
2. Participating in problem-solving to develop technical solutions for deficiencies or new designs.
3. Reviewing and endorsing new designs, construction methodologies, and temporary works submitted to the Technical Authority.
4. Completing design work packages as assigned by the Lead Civil Engineer.
