Job summary

SIMIAN is recruiting a CISRS Scaffolding Instructor/Assessor/Skills Coach for its SOMAX centre in Weston-super-Mare. The role focuses on coaching apprentices, delivering assessments and sharing expertise to help trainee scaffolders progress across our sites.

You must hold CISRS Advanced Scaffolder and Scaffolder qualifications with long-standing experience. Willingness to travel to other SIMIAN centres and work away from home is required during the development phase.

Qualifications

• Be qualified to CISRS Advanced Scaffolder level and must have held that qualification for a minimum period of five years;
• Be qualified to CISRS Scaffolder level and have been so for a minimum period of 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop apprentice scaffolders by carrying out periodic reviews.
• Centre and site-based coaching and mentoring.
• Shadowing may be required at other SIMIAN CISRS centres.
• Willingness to travel to achieve development.
