Zusammenfassung

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join its NetSec Professional Services team on a permanent, fully remote basis. The role is around 80% delivery, covering reviewing high-level designs, creating low-level designs, and configuring, deploying, and migrating enterprise network environments, with the remaining 20% on Tier 3 support escalation.

It is not a BAU support or helpdesk position, and on-call and out-of-hours implementation work is a standard part of the role.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on routing and switching across enterprise networks with Catalyst/Nexus.
• Experience with Cisco Secure Firewall, FTD and ASA.
• Experience with Cisco ISE, DNA Center and SD-Access.
• Strong customer-facing communication under time pressure.
• Comfortable with on-call rotations and out-of-hours work.

Aufgaben

• Deliver Cisco professional services across LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN and security for enterprise customers.
• Review High Level Designs and produce Low Level Designs, configs, and migration plans.
• Deploy Cisco DNA Center, ISE, SD-Access, FTD, Catalyst and Nexus switching environments.
• Attend on-site customer meetings and technical design reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex multi-technology enterprise environments.
• Provide Tier 3 support escalation for the wider team as required.
• Participate in on-call and out-of-hours go-lives.
