Job summary

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Advanced Practitioner in Chronic Pain to lead care across community clinics and prison settings. The post requires highly specialised clinical practice, driving across localities, and delivering policy-driven clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

NMC or HCPC registered.
MSc in pain management.
NMC/AHP recorded Independent Prescriber.
RCGP Addiction/Substance Misuse training.
Counselling Skills.

Responsibilities

This patient facing clinical role includes direct patient care in community clinics and secure settings and supporting others within the service.
In liaison with the clinical lead and clinical service managers they will be expected to initiate, develop and implement community policies and clinical guidelines to achieve the service key objectives.
The post holder provides clinical leadership to the Integrated Musculoskeletal service team working within the secure environment.
Due to the need to work across multiple localities on the same day the post holder must be a driver with access to a car.
