Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is partnering with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council to recruit an Advanced Practitioner for the Locality Social Work team based at Aston Joint Service Centre. The role is full-time (37 hours, Mon - Fri) and focuses on safeguarding children, assessing needs, and delivering effective interventions with multi-agency partners.

You will conduct complex assessments, manage caseloads, contribute to child protection processes and court proceedings, and maintain accurate

Qualifications

• A recognised social work qualification.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Significant experience in child protection, safeguarding and Court work.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a complex, but manageable caseload.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners.
• Participating in child protection processes and court proceedings, presenting good quality written and oral evidence.
• Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
