Job summary

Candl Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker in Shirebrook, Derbyshire. The role offers a full-time, permanent position with an hourly rate of £13.43 and £70 per sleep-in, plus ongoing opportunities within a respected children’s residential home.

You will join a supportive team dedicated to safeguarding and positive, consistent support for young people, helping them develop life skills while maintaining records and care plans. Sleep-in shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people
• Experience within residential care, supported accommodation or a similar setting
• Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
• Ability to remain calm and consistent when dealing with challenging situations
• Good communication and record keeping skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep ins

• Create a safe, structured and nurturing environment for the young people in the home

The Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will help create a safe, structured and nurturing environment for the young people in the home.
