Job summary

Witherslack Group in Rugby is hiring a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker to help care for young people with SEMH in our homes, support daily shift operations, and deputise for Team Leaders as required.

You’ll work with a committed team in a nurturing environment, with a 4-week Care Academy induction, competitive pay, and a clear path for career progression within a values-driven, inclusive organisation.

Qualifications

• A ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who helps others.
• Honesty and empathy are a must.
• Resilience to handle challenging situations.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• If no Level 3 Diploma, WG will fund study and support you through the process.

Responsibilities

• Take care of young people daily, ensuring smooth home operations.
• Provide leadership to staff and deputise for Team Leaders when needed.
• Build strong relationships with young people and support their development.
