Job summary

Hexagon Care Services Ltd is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker for Hawthorn Avenue Children’s Home in Oswaldtwistle. You will support young people in daily activities, help create a safe, nurturing home, and work to uphold safeguarding standards.

Applicants should have at least 12 months’ residential childcare experience and a driving licence. This role is 40.5 hours per week with a 1 on 2 off pattern and occasional sleep-ins.

Qualifications

• 12 months’ residential childcare experience
• Driving licence
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Support young people in activities such as cooking, cleaning, outings, and appointments.
• Manage challenging behaviours with support from senior staff.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where youths feel heard and valued.
• Collaborate with psychologists and therapy staff to set boundaries and strategies.
