Job summary

eNL Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor for a well-established Birmingham practice. You will handle a varied caseload of care proceedings and other public law children matters, representing parents and/or children with sensitivity and practical advice.

The successful candidate will be a Solicitor based in Birmingham with at least 5 years’ PQE and accredited as a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, skilled in publicly funded childcare work and able to manage

Qualifications

• Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE who are based in Birmingham.
• Accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Panel.
• Strong experience in publicly funded childcare work.
• Excellent advocacy and client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of childcare matters, including care proceedings and other public law children matters.
• Represent clients throughout proceedings, prepare cases for court hearings and work with counsel and social workers.
• Aim for the best possible outcomes for clients in challenging situations.
