Job summary

eNL is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join its Birmingham team. The role centres on publicly funded childcare work for the Children’s Panel, handling care proceedings and related public law matters for parents and children.

You will manage a varied caseload, provide advocacy at hearings, and work closely with social workers, counsel and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years' PQE who are accredited members of the Law Society's Children Panel.
• Strong advocacy and case management skills in public childcare matters.
• Experience representing parents and/or children in public law proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of childcare matters, including care proceedings and emergency protection orders.
• Represent clients throughout proceedings and prepare cases for court hearings.
• Collaborate with social workers and counsel to achieve best outcomes.
