Warwickshire County Council is seeking a Lead Child Protection Practitioner to join the new Multi-Agency Child Protection Team. The role is based in the North of the county with the office base at Nuneaton Justice Centre, and time spent in South locality offices.

You will lead protection meetings, oversee enquiries, provide guidance to Social Workers and students, and supervise practice across the team, working with Police, Health and Education colleagues.

Competenze

• Qualified Social Worker with frontline child protection experience.
• Knowledge of child protection law and safeguarding practices.
• Ability to lead in multi-agency settings and supervise practice.

Mansioni

• Lead Child Protection Meetings (Strategy Meetings & Conferences).
• Oversee Section 47 enquiries and develop protection plans.
• Provide advice and support to Social Workers, Family Practitioners and students.
• Conduct reflective supervision and group sessions across the team.
