Job summary

Birmingham Children's Trust is seeking a Principal Officer (Child Protection Chair) to chair multi-agency Child Protection Conferences for vulnerable children and young people across the city. You will ensure safety planning is child-centred, driven by the Strengthening Families approach, and actively involve parents, carers and professionals.

• extensive post qualifying social work experience

• sound grasp of child protection processes
