Job summary

Sea Containers London is opening Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers, a new dining destination on the South Bank, London. As a Senior Chef de Partie you will own your section and uphold the highest standards of prep, presentation and hygiene.

You will work closely with Sous Chefs and Head Chef, mentoring juniors and driving kitchen quality while maintaining a positive, collaborative culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume, quality-led restaurant or hotel.
• Experience with live-fire concepts (open-fire cooking, charcoal grills, wood-fired ovens).
• Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and exceptional food quality.

Responsibilities

• Managing your section during service and ensuring smooth operations.
• Preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards.
• Working confidently with open-fire cooking techniques and equipment.
• Supporting the training and development of junior chefs.
• Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
• Contributing ideas and supporting menu development where appropriate.
