Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie in London to join our vibrant kitchen brigade. You will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef, preparing, cooking and presenting outstanding dishes in line with our food philosophy.

The role requires technical expertise, strong kitchen operations knowledge, and a proactive attitude toward training, hygiene, and consistency. You will contribute to menu development, ensure allergy compliance, and mentor junior staff while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive, proactive, and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen environment.
• Culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential.
• Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards in quality and presentation.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering efficient service during busy periods.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergy, hygiene, and health standards (HACCP).
• Take ownership of mise en place and prep tasks for high-quality service.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
