Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team. You will be happy running a section and maintaining high standards while assisting Head Chef and Sous Chef to run a smooth kitchen.

You will contribute to delivering high quality fresh pub food across our Southern England pubs. Flexible shifts and great benefits include meals, accommodation discounts, career development, and staff incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar level position with leadership aptitude.
• Experience in preparing high quality fresh food dining is advantageous.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Run a kitchen section and maintain high standards at all times.
• Assist Head Chef/Sous Chef with smooth kitchen operation.
• Set an example and guide junior chefs.
• Complete all training in a timely manner.
• Comply with health and safety, licensing and employment law requirements.
• Follow Food safety laws and requirements.
• Maintain a positive, approachable manner and strong team player qualities.

Chef de Partie Requirements:

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK

Chef de Partie Responsibilities:

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
• Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs
• To complete all training in a timely manner
• To comply with the statutory requirements for fir, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them
• Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements
• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities
